FAQS

What differentiates the Mule 561 E-V20 from smaller electric models?
Increase the power to 1,500 W (2 HP) and expand the working width to 40 cm with 6 milling cutter groups of 23 cm in diameter. Even so, it maintains a contained weight of 12.2 kg, so it remains manageable for medium-sized family gardens.
What are the rear transport wheels for?
They are retractable wheels that are deployed to move the machine rolling to the work area without having to carry it. Once in the field, they are removed or folded so as not to interfere with the strawberries during tillage.
What advantages do double bolt milling cutter groups offer?
Double bolt cutters are held at two points instead of one, making them more resistant to twisting when hitting stones or roots. This extends the life of the cutting assembly and reduces the risk of breakage or deformation.
Do you need periodic transmission maintenance?
The worm gear transmission with aluminum casing has no belt or chain, reducing regular maintenance. Even so, it is advisable to check the condition of the cutters, clean the machine well after each use and consult the manual for any specific check.
What type of electrical installation is needed to power it?
Operates at 230 V and 50 Hz, standard domestic connection. To work safely, it is advisable to use an extension cord suitable for the power of 1.5 kW and the distance to the orchard, and verify that the circuit has differential protection.
What level of noise does it generate and what PPE is recommended?
It has a declared sound power of 93 dB(A), a lower value than thermal tillers but enough to recommend hearing protection for long sessions. It is also advisable to wear closed shoes, gloves and glasses against the projection of earth.
